• Factory equipment includes a locking center differential, a height-adjustable suspension system, roof rails, a sunroof, heated front seats, and air conditioning. Modifications reported by the selling dealer include aftermarket headlights, a front splitter, third-row seats, and a Panasonic touchscreen.
• Toyota launched the 100-Series Land Cruiser for 1998 as a replacement for the 80-Series model. While the design changes were largely evolutionary, the 100 was the first Land Cruiser with an independent front suspension system. Changes to the steering system were made as well.
