• Based on and titled as a 1964 Beetle, this Dune Buggy is a street-legal new 2025 build with 4 miles on its odometer. It reportedly features a Meyers Manx-licensed fiberglass body, and its registry authentication plate is pictured in the gallery.
• A partial list of notable currently installed equipment reported by the selling dealer includes EMPI disc brakes, a Sombrero soft top, plaid cloth upholstery, and Speedhut gauges.
• Bruce Meyers leveraged his expertise in building boats to create the fiberglass-bodied Manx. Built on a Beetle chassis, which was plentiful in the 1960s, the Manx became an immediate hit. It was cheap, solid, and surprisingly fun to drive off the pavement. The original Manx spawned hundreds of imitations all around the world, but the real thing remains available new as a kit directly from the factory.
• Power comes from a 1.9-liter air-cooled flat-4. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission.
